After the release of their recent ‘Sound’ Remix EP, which features remixes from Tristesse Contemporaine, Manfredas, and others, French electronic duo Telepopmusik have decided to release an additional take on the song – Manfredas’ alternate remix. Where Manfredas’ original take on the track is subtle and brooding, this alternate version takes the same dark affect and brings it to the forefront, using dissonant chords and textures to create an air of breathless intensity.

The original single ‘Sound’ features dreamy vocals from Mark Gardener of seminal shoegaze group Ride, and this new variation from Manfredas rounds out the remix collection very well, complementing his original club burner as well as Tristesse Contemporaine’s ethereal cold wave take on the track and Francesco Chiocci’s main room deep house version. Telepopmusik has also announced that they will be releasing an album in spring 2015, which will be their first full-length since 2005.
