FIDLAR Premieres Video for “Leave Me Alone”

FIDLAR releases lyrics video for "Leave Me Alone"
Following its premiere yesterday, today FIDLAR has unveiled the official lyric video for their song “Leave Me Alone” on Tumblr. Along with “40oz. On Repeat”, “West Coast”, and “Drone,” “Leave Me Alone” appears on the band’s forthcoming second album Too due out on September 4th on Mom+Pop.

In celebration of the album’s release FIDLAR will participate in a Tumblr IRL to take place at The Well in Downtown Los Angeles (1006 S. Olive St) on Friday, September 4th at 7:00 PM. The free all-ages event will feature visual art by the band’s longtime collaborator Ryan Baxley as well as Zoe Zag, who illustrated the band’s album artwork, and Alice Baxley. There will also be video projections, screen-printing, various on-site activations, and a very special surprise sure to please hometown FIDLAR fans.

Tumblr IRL invites fans to scroll through the creative mind of musicians, on their blogs and IN REAL LIFEThrough this music and art series, artists paint the picture behind the creation of their work, focusing on the visuals, their inspirations and the emotions of their music. So far Tumblr IRL has rolled out an array of artwork, unreleased tracks and album streams that always cumulate in a physical exhibit and intimate show with Little Dragon, Travi$ Scott, Childish Gambino, Banks, Flying Lotus, Charli XCX and many more.

Produced by Jay Joyce, Too was recorded in Nashville over the span of just two weeks. The 12-song collection of pop-infused garage rock expands on the band’s 2013 self-titled album that put them at the forefront of modern punk music. The new album showcases a band that continues to fine-tune its sonic approach while also highlighting a more introspective and revelatory approach to songwriting. It also marks the first time the band has worked with a producer.

Following appearances this weekend at Reading and Leeds, FIDLAR will kick off an extensive headlining U.S. tour in Denver, CO on September 9th that wraps on Halloween for a two-night hometown stand at the Regent Theater. Tickets for all dates are on-sale now. See below for a complete list of upcoming dates.
