Faun Fables

Faun Fables will tour across parts of the Midwest and South this spring, ending the brief hiatus that followed their last album, Light of a Vaster Dark (released Nov. 16, 2010 on Drag City Records). Before heading east, the band will play select West Coast dates including a performance at San Francisco’s Switchboard Music Festival. During her downtime, Faun Fables’ Dawn McCarthy recently lent her vocal talents to a forthcoming Bonnie “Prince” Billy release.

For years, Faun Fables toured America in a Mini-Winnie that acted as their home and refuge. During the early stages of the Light of a Vaster Dark tours, the vehicle broke down, leaving the band unable to continue. This time around, Faun Fables show no signs of slowing down, as they will partner with fellow travelers Rasputina on a national tour in the fall.
