Ex Cops have shared a third track from their sophomore album, Daggers, with guitar-pop anthem “White Noise”.

Amalie Bruun of the duo writes, “I wrote the song in 2010 when I could not find silence anywhere and I went to extremes to feel/hear nothing, but no matter what I did I could not silence the voices in my head. So I had a white noise machine playing 24/7 around me to drown out everything.”

A nomadic duo of Amalie Bruun and Brian Harding, Ex Cops bring the hook-heavy blast of ‘90s alt-rock into a new era with Daggers, which was executively produced by icon Billy Corgan, produced by Justin Raisen and features co-written tracks with Ariel Pink. Daggers arrives on new release date November 11th via Downtown Records.

Before embarking on their month-long tour with Dum Dum Girls, Ex Cops will play two shows next week at the CBGB Festival in New York – kicking off the festival with Billy Idol and playing at the fest’s free closing day party in Times Square with Devo, Jane’s Addiction, We Are Scientists, Surfer Blood, Robert DeLong and more, with all tour dates available below.
