Earlimart Returns with New Album

Earlimart returns from four year hiatus with new album, System Preferences. According to the band, System Preferences sounds like Earlimart without sounding like any other Earlimart album. It will be released on the band’s own label, The Ship, digitally on Sept. 18 and Oct. 16 on CD and LP.

Since their prior release Hymn and Her in 2008, Earlimart has collaborated with members of Grandaddy for the 2010 release of Admiral Radley’s I Heart California, which was followed by headlining tours of the U.S. and Japan, as well as a support tour with pals Band Of Horses. Espinoza and Murray have also kept busy in the Ship studio, composing for film and other various TV projects. Meanwhile, Espinoza has continued to work on his studio tan, producing records for artists Ben Gibbard, The Henry Clay People, Port O’Brien and others.
