Dirty Projectors announce tour dates and share single

Starting this spring and continuing through the summer, Dirty Projectors are heading out on tour in the the U.S. The band will play a series of festival dates, including stops at Bonnaroo, Sasquatch, Governor’s Ball, Bottle Rock, and more. Dave Longstreth and Co. will also be heading out on tour alongside The National, playing a a run of shows with the band in June. Dirty Projectors also have shows planned for the Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland, as well as a pair of intimate gigs at Lincoln Hall in Chicago. “We wanted to do something special for Chicago since we weren’t able to play a club show there on the last tour.” says Dave Longstreth. “So we booked an early and late show at Lincoln Hall, sixties style.”

To coincide with Dirty Projectors’ upcoming dates, the band has also made the b-side “There’s a Fire” available for stream. Originally released on the “Offspring Are Blank” 7” for the band’s Carnegie Hall show this winter, this is the first time the track has been widely available.
