Ahead of the release of Fading Frontier on Friday, October 16, Deerhunter have shared more details about the record in the form of an interactive concept map, drawn by the band’s lynchpin Bradford Cox. Explore the Interactive Concept below.

Cox’s illustration points towards the influences leading into the writing of the record. From Pharaoh Sanders to Vicente Huidobro, Juniper Ridge fragrances to soulless car smells, the map offers an insight into the literary and visual tropes of the group’s seventh studio album, along with the impact of Cox’s car accident in late 2014.
