Cloves releases new single “California Numb”
CLOVES, the 21-year-old London-via-Melbourne singer/songwriter has returned with the new single, “California Numb,” the track follows “Better Now” as the second song to be announced off her forthcoming release, which will be released via Interscope Records later this year. The album has primarily been written by CLOVES with select collaborators including Justin Parker (Sia, Lana Del Rey), Starsmith (Ellie Goulding) and Ariel Rechtshaid (HAIM, Adele, Vampire Weekend, Brandon Flowers).
“California Numb is about catching yourself off guard” explains CLOVES. “It’s about the moment you realize you’re becoming somebody you don’t want to be, the idea of losing yourself in something or someone else you shouldn’t be influenced by, and having to claw yourself back.”
