Chasms have shared the official new video for their track “Beyond Flesh”. The track is from Chasms newly released album On The Legs Of Love Purified out now via felte. The video was directed by Kristen Cofer and edited by Sera Timms.

Kristen Cofer explains, “I wanted to shoot in a location that was very special to me, which was a northern California beach I’ve been visiting since I was a child. Fortunately, on the day we filmed, the area was vacant of people, and so we had the beach and redwood forest to ourselves. Cash Askew (of the band Them Are Us Too) was the perfect muse for the song, and I feel like the music, location, and atmosphere all came together in perfect unison.”

Sera Timms elaborates, “Chasm’s music conveys a sense of ethereal longing. Like poetry, it seems to want to immerse the listener into a more vibrant experience of living.”

Chasms just wrapped up a successful U.S. tour in support of On The Legs Of Love Purifed. The band have added West Coast dates in Los Angeles and San Diego, including support for Deafheaven and HEALTH.

On The Legs Of Love Purified is the band’s proper debut full-length album. Written over the course of several years, the album explores the healing force of love and the exorcism of pain that inescapably accompanies it. While this is Chasms’ debut, they’ve been an active duo since 2012. They’ve released the When It Comes EP (Dream, 2012), Riser (Dream, 2014) EP and the “Bad Evolution” single (Sleep Genius, 2012). They then collected a majority of the two EPs on the Subtle Bodies compilation album (Sleep Genius, 2014).
