Broken Records release ‘So Long, So Late’

Broken Records release 'So Long, So Late' from their latest album 'Weights and Pulleys' Broken Records play their next live show September 4th in London, UK

Following on from their recently released third album Weights & Pulleys, September 15th sees the release of their first single ‘So Long, So Late’ from their new album.

Produced by Tony Doogan (Mogwai, Delgados, Belle & Sebastian), So Long So Late is a crafted piece of song-writing bringing with it their emotionally wrought and infectious sound that’s sweepingly grandiose. Producing music. The single is led by dramatic thunderous drums and shimmering guitars against Sutherland’s Scottish twanged vocal delivery and the gentle choral chant of ‘So Long, So Late’.

Notably Broken Records have released through indie labels including 4AD (who released both previous albums) and other releases include Young Turks, Fandango and Distiller Records. They have toured with The National and Freelance Whales and in 2010 headline toured the US. Their festival performances include Glastonbury, SXSW, T in the Park and a main-stage slot at Latitude.
