Brazos Release New Video, Tour With Cayucas

Brazos release new video for "Long Shot" begin tour with Cayucas. Their latest album "Saltwater" is now out on Dead Oceans

Brazos has shared a new video for “Long Shot.” The closing song on the recently released Saltwater, “Long Shot” is a sparsely swirling track that lays bare band leader & singer Martin Crane’s caramel yawp. Crane calls it the album’s “nightcap”

Like “How the Ranks Was Won” before it, this video was created and directed by Crane himself. He made the paintings of beings, bodies, the moon and animals in black and white using a Chinese calligraphy brush, then stitched them together to animate the story.

Brazos is currently on tour for a series of US tour dates with surf-popsters, Cayucas. After their run down the east coast to Dallas, the band will return to Brooklyn on July 21st to play with Indians at the Knitting Factory. The full set of dates is listed below.
