Blond Ambition, the new pop project of Brian Harding, shares the video for his single “Shasta” today.

“‘Shasta’ was recorded at the top of Mt Washington during my first week as a resident of Los Angeles,” says Harding. “I opened the door – the movie was now in color. ‘Shasta’ is and isn’t a person. It is whatever makes your life worth living and it delivers joy in darkness. ‘Shasta’ is why you get out of bed in the morning and who you end up with at night.”

“Shasta” will be out on Friday, November 18 via Swoon City Music, an independent record label and music publishing company based in Brooklyn, NY.

Blond Ambition is the new solo project from Ex Cops founder Brian Harding.

Having worked and written with Billy Corgan, Daniel Johnston and Ariel Pink, and living for three years in the woods of upstate NY, Harding relocated to LA, recording what would later become a full length album with producer and friend Andrew Miller.

The debut album celebrates offerings to E.S.G. and ’77 Dead. It will be released in early 2017.
