Following Snoop Dogg’s release of his remix to their Kaytranada-featuring track “Lavender” from their album IV earlier this week, BADBADNOTGOOD is back today to share part of a special five song session that they performed on Mike D’s Beats 1 show The Echo Chamber. The performance is highlighted by a rendition of Galt MacDermot’s “Coffee Cold”, on which Mike D plays drums. The band is also sharing an interview about some of their favorite records, as well as a performance of the aforementioned Kaytranada-assisted track “Lavender”. The full episode of The Echo Chamber featuring BADBADNOTGOOD airs today at 3pm ET and then again on Sunday, 3/19 at the same time on Beats 1.

On their latest full-length effort, IV (out now through Innovative Leisure on July 8th), BBNG decide to expand their universe, which was already one of the most compelling, labyrinthine worlds in pop music today. Saxophonist Leland Whitty, a long-time collaborator, joins Chester Hansen, Matthew Tavares, and Alexander Sowinski on a full-time basis; for the first time, guest vocalists are welcomed into the fold.
