Alex G Reveals Tour With Cymbals Eat Guitars

Alex G announces dates with Cymbals Eat Guitars + on tour now, as well shares video for hollow

Following the announcement of his new video for “Hollow” and UK shows in November, Alex G returns with more new dates this winter. He will be joining Cymbals Eat Guitars on a short East Coast run on December 10th through December 13th. All current and upcoming dates can be found below.

DSU will be released in the UK on November 10th via Lucky Number.

Alexander Giannascoli, aka Alex G, is a 21-year-old multi-instrumentalist and native of Philadelphia who has been writing songs as far back as he can remember. Following a slew of recordings he self-released over the years through his Bandcamp page, Alex spent 2013 writing and recording a proper, full-length record titled DSU, which was released on June 17th via Orchid Tapes.

From the initial moments spent with his music, one might consider his lyrical approach as hyper-personal. Alex often employs guided and reserved reminiscence to craft each song into a unique story. Despite how honest and emotionally-heavy his music comes across, he’s quick to mention that there is no definitive motive behind the new album.“On this record, as well as my other stuff, I usually am influenced by my relationships and experiences with people,” says Alex. “I think plenty of personal obstacles have shaped my music, but nothing I would like to share.”
