Today Adiam releases a remix of “Runaway” by Los Angeles based alternative hip-hop duo: Blu and Exile. The remix will be included on EP2 Quiet Desperation, out everywhere March 25th on Vertigo Berlin / Universal.

“I’’m a longtime follower of LA hip-hop in all its forms and I’’ve really been a fan of Exile and Blu,” says Adiam who had invited the duo composed of rapper Blu and producer Exile to contribute a remix of “Runaway.” Blu’s conscious yet rough delivery style of rapping acts as a fresh counterpart to Adiam’s harmonic vocals, while Exile compliments the original single by flipping the groove into a raw hip-hop track.

Adiam’s forthcoming release EP2 Quiet Desperation was produced by TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek, who also produced her debut EP1 Dark Lake, released last October. Earlier this month Adiam revealed the original bass-driven, R&B single “”Runaway” alongside one of her visually striking, monochrome mood videos for the track.
