A Place To Bury Strangers “Now It’s Over”

A Place To Bury Strangers have shared their new video for the track "Now It's Over"

A Place To Bury Strangers have shared their new animated video, for their latest single “Now It’s Over” off their latest LP Transfixiation, out out now via Dead Oceans. “Now It’s Over” is a haunting tale of woe from the experimental Brooklyn outift. Featuring a protagonist who’s never quite in focus, shapeshifting shadows, and a stormy, night-time drive, the video for “Now It’s Over” is every part as ominous and bleaks as its name suggests. Speaking of the final product, director and lead animator Dave Merson Hess explains,

“I loved the mood of ‘Now It’s Over’, and the way the lyrics and arrangement captured the feeling of a breakup as a complete destruction of a particular, insular reality, a way of living being ripped apart at the seams, on both vague and sudden terms. Film noir felt like a perfect match for it. The inevitability of failure built into the genre fit the song’s lyrics, murky, reverbed vocals, and jagged guitar sounds.”

Starting today in Hong Kong they’ll orbit the globe a time or two with stops in Australia, Europe, and dates across the United States. Full list of dates below.
