Brainfeeder is an independent record label based in Los Angeles, California, founded by Flying Lotus in 2008, focusing on electronic music and instrumental hip hop. It has signed artists such as Flying Lotus, Daedelus, Lorn, Ras G, Samiyam, The Gaslamp Killer, Austin Peralta, Mono/Poly, Teebs, Martyn, Lapalux, Strangeloop, Taylor McFerrin, Jeremiah Jae, TOKiMONSTA, The Underachievers and Thundercat.

On September 17, 2012, it was announced that Brainfeeder signed New York hip hop duo The Underachievers. The Underachievers, along with their Beastcoast Brethren, Pro Era and Flatbush Zombies, are considered by Brainfeeder to be the saviours of hip hop.
