Wrestlers began in producer Adrian Kennedy’s dorm room in 2012 with songs made for the dance floor featuring a blend of pop, R&B, and traditional club influences. Soon after the release of the critically celebrated debut EP 100% Panther on Fance’s Plik & Plok Records, Kennedy enlisted friend and collaborator David Elkin to grow Wrestlers from bedroom recording project to full blown stage show. Together, the duo developed the band’s live performance landing the group slots at major festivals in the US and Canada including Lollapalooza, Counterpoint, Hangout Fest and more.
