Guitarist Morten Winther Nielsen, bassist Christian Rohde Lindinger, and drummer Mathias Sørensen, who share vocal duties, were childhood friends in Jutland and began playing music together in junior high. Niels Kirk rounded out the band at the piano, joining in 2007 as the band embarked on its first recording. The result, released in 2011, was a self-titled album whose sunshine-soaked pop, soaring choral arrangements, and hopeful lyrics were made for summertime hangouts.
